I got a case guard and put some pegs on it, but took them back because they had too much smooth surface on them and not enough rubber. WD is right, they will probably move your feet forward only a little, but up a bunch (which is what mine did). I liked that, but again, with my feet up high, I wanted them to grip a little better. I know the ones you are talking about, and they are very similar to the ones I tried.
I ended up with some stock Harley pegs which are all rubber. My knees are only 5 or so inches below my elbows (but again, my pegs are up on a case guard), but my feet grip the rubber and I find it really comfortable.
Hope this helps, I'd hate to see you spend some $ on something you wouldn't like. Let us know what happens. Incidentally, I initially tried to save some $ and get cheaper stuff, but as I started to replace component by component (clamps, peg mounts, pegs) I realized that I would have been better off just shelling out more $ up front and going with quality stuff (Kuryakn, Custoe Chrome, etc....)--- I'll never buy cheap chrome again.
